AIC has stopped offering NCUK programmes from January 2024 and introduced our diploma programmes in business and engineering pathways instead, starting from October 2023. The DITT and DBP programmes are purposefully designed to prepare our students for EU-wide universities to study Business ( DBP) and Engineering (DITT). On a beautiful autumn day at 9.30 am, 22 students met in Heroes' Square to take part in the first of a series of AIC-organized city tours, called ‘Step in the footsteps of heroes’. This cultural programme is an opportunity for our young adults, mainly Persians, students, who have been coming to AIC for a few weeks, to gain an insight into the culture, behavior and customs of EU citizens and the history of the country. I had a dream same as every other kid. I wanted to make it into the National team of Hungary. It was a big goal for me that I wanted to achieve no matter what. I started training in 2022 in a local gym where the trainers saw me and told me that I should try powerlifting competitively. After thinking about it I took my chances and I joined my current team Sirius Lifting. I started working together with a coach as soon as possible to be able to compete in November. We had an amazing preparation for the competition and I made it to my first competition in November which was a National qualification competition. At that competition I became second and by that I qualified to National championship.

The AIC management has decided to give a special spin to the start of the year and organise team building in a very different way. The scenery for last year’s team building was the Pilis mountains when we went on hiking for the whole day. This time around it had to be a bit different, so we thought of renting two dragon boats and headed to the Danube for rowing.
