First English Language Competition Held for Budapest Secondary Schools by Avicenna International College

For the first time, Avicenna International College organized a two-round English Language Competition for 6th-8th grade students, with the aim of covering all primary schools in Budapest.   The online round took place on 28 January 2023, for which 133 students registered free of charge, and the second, offline round was held on 13 March. Italian Erasmus Exchange Students Enjoy a Day of Sightseeing on Gellert Hill in Budapest

On the 7th, 8th and 11th of November the students and teachers of the AIC Diploma Programs participated in a cultural program of Budapest city tour starting from Heroes’ square and touching the City Park, Széchenyi Spa, the Városliget Ice Rink, Vajdahunyad Castle, the Budapest Zoo, Gundel Restaurant, Andrássy Avenue, Octagon Square, the Hungarian Opera House, and St Stephens’ Basilica - the largest church in Budapest. Students visit to Budapest Museum of Fine Arts

On 31st May, AIC High School students gathered in the schoolyard for their Art trip to the Fine Arts Museum, visiting the temporary exhibition of Hieronymus Bosch. Mr. Andras Piko, Mayor of Budapest 8th District, accompanied by the Deputy-Mayor and the Head of Cabinet, visited Avicenna International College on Tuesday 26 of October 2021. Second English Language Competition

For the second time, AIC opened its doors to students from grades 7-8 in Budapest to participate in the first round of the Second English Language Competition on 29 January 2024. The 154 registered students filled the three registration slots (9.00, 15.30 and 17.30) in just a few weeks, often with the help of their teachers and schools. The unexpectedly high interest was preceded by hard marketing work, which last year, brought 133 online testers to the event.
