The opening ceremony of the Avicenna International Christmas Exhibition and Fair, organized for the first time by Avicenna Holding, commenced on December 8, 2023, in the large lecture hall of the Avicenna International College, which is part of the company group and is also suitable for prestigious events. On last day of the academic year 2022-23, on 16 June, just one day after the very highly quoted and memorable 3 day-long School Trip to Sopron and Vienna, we organized a short but concise End of the Year Ceremony.

Avicenna International College Hungarian-English Bilingual High School held the Graduation Ceremony of the 2022–2023 academic year on the afternoon of May 4th. During this event the school bids farewell to the graduating high schoolers, and the graduates thank the teachers, staff and school mates for all the joyous memories they shared together.

On the 10th of June, we revived the good old tradition of holding a Graduation Ceremony at the Avicenna. During the two years of Covid it wasn’t possible to hold such a high-profile gathering so this year we did it, as a much-anticipated social event. AIC held its second graduation ceremony for the 12th-grade students of the International High School Program (2016-2021) On Monday (15.06.2021). This year was full of isolation for many, therefore we were extremely happy to be able to organize this event. It wasn’t just for our graduates, but for all of us - our teachers, Student Center members, the parents, and all the other colleagues in Avicenna. For the second time, AIC opened its doors to students from grades 7-8 in Budapest to participate in the first round of the Second English Language Competition on 29 January 2024. The 154 registered students filled the three registration slots (9.00, 15.30 and 17.30) in just a few weeks, often with the help of their teachers and schools. The unexpectedly high interest was preceded by hard marketing work, which last year, brought 133 online testers to the event. AIC started the beginning of academic year 2023-24 with a surprisingly wonderful cultural program, a unique and one-of-a-kind folk dance play performed by the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble and the Honvéd Férfikar in MÜPA.The lucky 21 students who were involved in the event were from grade 9 accompanied by the Italian Erasmus students, and met in front of the theater on 20.
