At the end of April, we held our first dissemination event about a new initiative at AIC: Our Model UN Club and shared some insights of our participation in the Model UN – BIMUN Conference. The teachers, Ms. Emese, Mr. Márk, and 5 chosen students have been working assiduously on a so-called ‘Pilot year’ of Model UN and preparing its implementation fully into our annual curriculum and school-year schedule.

AIC was the first (or among the first) institutions to stop classes and introduce online education in Hungary. We have reduced the presence of our colleagues to the very minimum required. we continue disinfecting the premises and areas even if there are not used anymore. We continue to further develop our online education programs throughout the Spring and Summer of 2020. This will include the preparation for University Entrance Examinations. Twenty-four students and four teachers from Marsciano, Italy, spent a week at Avicenna International College in Budapest as part of an Erasmus+ mobility programme. Through collaborative workshops, cultural visits, and shared experiences, the exchange laid the foundations for a promising new international partnership.

The AIC Community Grant is a trust-based invitation system that empowers students and parents to invite individuals who truly belong at Avicenna International College.
