This course held in Rome was the last one out of seven individual teacher courses and training of our 2022-23 Erasmus Project Cycle. I opted for this course because I found its description rather appealing, hoping to learn more about the education systems developed and adopted by different other EU and international schools beyond the EU, through discussion and collaborative learning.

In early September, on the 12th and 13th, I spent two days in Foligno to prepare an Erasmus group mobility activity for ten carefully selected AIC students for March 2023. Foligno is the third largest town in Umbria region, in central Italy. This mesmerizingly green and close-to-nature, ancient Italian town is surrounded by the Apennines Mountain range, and it lies along the Topino river. Conflict Management, Emotional Intelligence and Bullying Prevention I took part in this programme as the first mobility of our second Erasmus project involving 7 teachers and 2 groups of students at my international high school Avicenna IC in Budapest, called: Building bridges between EU schools to provide opportunities for our pupils of today and tomorrow. This mobility experience was the second in a row for me in the 12 months long Erasmus project of our Avicenna International College in Budapest: Building bridges between EU schools to provide opportunities for our pupils of today and tomorrow. I picked this course because my ICT skills definitely needed a good polishing to be able to use an ever-increasing array of digital platforms in the classroom to make teaching not only all the more interesting but also more up to date in line with the latest developments to help the progression of our students.
