In a remarkable display of mathematical prowess, students from Avicenna’s Tehran campus have soared to new heights in the prestigious Caribou Mathematics Competition. Demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication, our students clinched the first rank in the second round of the competition, outperforming peers from 26 countries across the globe.

We are excited to announce some significant updates to our Foundation Programs at Avicenna International College. These changes are designed to better reflect the academic content and career pathways offered by each program. Effective immediately, the following updates have been made:

On 19 March 2022 the very first group of 10 students from Avicenna will depart for a two-week long Erasmus mobility project in Foligno, Italy. The students will board a plane for Rome with their accompanying teacher and Erasmus coordinator Mr. Steve and with Mr. Reza who is our photographer and media-man. From Rome they will take a hired bus to go to their destination city in the Umbria Region called Foligno. Thanks to its successful application, after 2 subsequent short term, one-year long projects at AVICENNA International College now we have won with our long-term, i.e., 5-year ERASMUS Project Plan, which is all about internationalization, participation in the EU high school education system, meaning fuller integration and involvement. In addition, AVICENNA immediately became a prominent ERASMUS accredited school in Hungary by being the 3rd best out of 8 applicants from Budapest, while it was ranked 9th out of a list of 30 national applications. As an innovation regarding our German language programme at the AIC, we decided to give the opportunity to 11 students to spend a week in the Bavarian city Lindau at our partner language school Dialoge. The students stayed with specially selected German host families. We took an ÖBB train from the Keleti Train Station and entered Germany through the Austrian city Salzburg. The Austrian Alpine scenery, watched from the train, was just simply ‘wunderschön’. We changed trains in Munich and continued with the DB down to the Swiss border to reach our destination Lindau.
