Extraordinary AIC team building on the Danube

The AIC management has decided to give a special spin to the start of the year and organise team building in a very different way. The scenery for last year’s team building was the Pilis mountains when we went on hiking for the whole day. Metropolitan University and Avicenna International College, both located in Budapest, have concluded an agreement to facilitate the admission, enrollment and education of international students at the prestigious Metropolitan University in Budapest. Innovating Sustainability: A Recap of Avicenna International College’s Sustainability and Innovation Project Week

Sustainability and Innovation Project Week took place at Avicenna International College between 24-28th of April. Preparation for the programs started weeks in advance in order to make this a meaningful event for AIC high school students. Students were divided into groups as a way to strengthen cohesiveness and teamwork of the AIC community, and were given specific topics to research and eventually present to their fellow students.

ERASMUS + projects and opportunities Following the first-ever successfully obtained grant for a short-term Erasmus project last year, Avicenna International College has managed to win funding worth 41.837 EUR for the mobility of 27 AIC students and teachers in the second short-term Erasmus tender as well for 2022-23. NCUK Regional Manager visits Avicenna International College

We had the honour to host Mr Adam Connor at the AIC, who is the NCUK Regional Manager from Manchester. Mr Adam came to pay us a visit by the invitation of the AIC-NCUK Academic Manager Mr Steve and spent an action-packed full day with us in Budapest, that started with a guided tour in the Hungarian Parliament in the company of Ms Katalin who is in charge of cultural programmes at Avicenna.
