The Federation of Education in Europe held its annual General Assembly in Milan from April 04, 2023. Representations from different countries and educational institutions participated in the event. For the first time, Avicenna International College organized a two-round English Language Competition for 6th-8th grade students, with the aim of covering all primary schools in Budapest.   The online round took place on 28 January 2023, for which 133 students registered free of charge, and the second, offline round was held on 13 March. The 118 students from 29 secondary schools with their teachers and parents mainly from Budapest assembled in the largest ground-floor auditorium, and sat around the tables allocated to their school, waiting to be called 10 minutes before their exams. Avicenna International College is inviting its bilingual high school students for two upcoming programs on October 12 and 17. One is the now-traditional 45-minute visit to the Hungarian Parliament, which will give an insight both into Hungarian history and the grandiose architecture of the 18th century. The other program is a visit to the Szabó Ervin Library in Budapest with the help of a local English guide, to try to shape and develop the learning habits of our students. On 31st May, AIC High School students gathered in the schoolyard for their Art trip to the Fine Arts Museum, visiting the temporary exhibition of Hieronymus Bosch. A bright and sunny afternoon with 32 students joining. Students had the chance to visit both the Bosch and the museum's permanent collection as well. Although we made some small efforts to teach them about Bosch's art in advance, we thought it is better to have their personal experience and comments on it so we are going to discuss their impressions in the upcoming lesson. Representing the Avicenna International College from Budapest, I took part in a six-day programme with the Europass Teacher Academy.

During an opening ceremony the President of AIC, Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini, and the Headmaster, Mr. Csaba Dani, held motivating speeches for the high school students, some parents, teachers, and the staff of the Student Center who were present in the event.
