On the 8th of November, the President of Avicenna International College opened the roundtable discussion regarding development investment projects in the Orczy quarter. The program organizers, headed by the Director for International Cooperation Amb. János Kovács aimed to create a bilateral dialogue between the main participants and stakeholders of the projects.

AIC had the pleasure to welcome 20 Turkish students and 4 accompanying teacher Colleagues from Kilis on our premises and to spend the whole week together with exciting academic and social programmes from 19 to 23 February for the entire working week. The opening ceremony of the Avicenna International Christmas Exhibition and Fair, organized for the first time by Avicenna Holding, commenced on December 8, 2023, in the large lecture hall of the Avicenna International College, which is part of the company group and is also suitable for prestigious events. On a beautiful autumn day at 9.30 am, 22 students met in Heroes' Square to take part in the first of a series of AIC-organized city tours, called ‘Step in the footsteps of heroes’. This cultural programme is an opportunity for our young adults, mainly Persians, students, who have been coming to AIC for a few weeks, to gain an insight into the culture, behavior and customs of EU citizens and the history of the country. I had a dream same as every other kid. I wanted to make it into the National team of Hungary. It was a big goal for me that I wanted to achieve no matter what. I started training in 2022 in a local gym where the trainers saw me and told me that I should try powerlifting competitively. After thinking about it I took my chances and I joined my current team Sirius Lifting. I started working together with a coach as soon as possible to be able to compete in November. We had an amazing preparation for the competition and I made it to my first competition in November which was a National qualification competition. At that competition I became second and by that I qualified to National championship.

Avicenna International College held its first School Camp at the magnificent surroundings of the soft range of Pilis mountains in Csattogó Völgy at Verőce on 4.-5. September. 2023. All the bilingual high school students, along with their teachers, traveled by train from Nyugati Railway station to Verőce where within a 15 mins walk in a lovely forest path, they reached the campsite. This April Avicenna International College organised the German Travel and Study programme called Lindau Deutsch camp for the second time in a row. The programme was fully funded by AIC, the students had to pay for their train tickets only. This time around we had 11 GFP students and one high school student from Grade 11 accompanied by Frau Ágota as the leader of German language education at AIC and Herr Steve, AIC principal and Travel and Study programme manager.
