AIC had the pleasure to welcome 20 Turkish students and 4 accompanying teacher Colleagues from Kilis on our premises and to spend the whole week together with exciting academic and social programmes from 19 to 23 February for the entire working week. Turkish National Education Authority Accepts AIC High School Diploma

Turkish National Education Authority Accepts AIC High School Diploma The Education Authority of the Republic of Turkey has recently accredited the first diploma of Avicenna International College and has issued "DENKLIK BELGESI" which allows students from Turkey and other countries to continue their studies at any Turkish university (governmental and private). As a result, many Turkish and international students from Turkey are now applying to Avicenna International High School program to be able to continue their higher education in Turkey and other European countries.

Our mission As AIC educates more than ten nationalities every year the need for the organization of an International Festival has become evident. Student group visits to Tomb of Gül Baba

On the 24th of November, AIC students visited Gül Baba's tomb in the Buda district of Rózsadomb. Gül Baba (born in Merzifon, present-day Turkey) was a Dervish member of the Ottoman empire in Buda, who died in 1541. This beautiful türbe (meaning tomb in Turkish) is the northernmost Islamic pilgrimage site in the world and is regarded as a significant part of Hungary's historical heritage as it was left unharmed during the Habsburg invasion and the consequent World Wars.

4th AIC Cultural Program – Buda Castle

Having met at Szell Kalman Square at 10.30, the six AIC students with the guides took a few minute’s rides by bus (16A)  to the Royal Castle. We started our tour at the Castle side of the medieval city on Castle Hill, which lies and is still inhabited by locals in the heart of the Capital.
